How To Order

Customer Service

  • How we roll

    We are proud Tasmanian's who procure our favourite Tasmanian products to deliver to your door each week. Start by choosing one of our small, medium or large boxes. We then source the best produce from around the state to bring to you in mixed boxes of fresh, seasonal, Tasmanian grown vegetables and fruit the following week.

    Order cut off is strictly 11.59pm Wednesday night for delivery the following week.

    1. Start by choosing a box
    2. Add additional items to your box (optional)
    3. Choose the delivery option that best suits you or choose a free pick up location in Launceston.
    4. Make payment - PayPal is the quickest and our preferred payment method

    Orders close at 11.59pm each Wednesday evening for delivery the following week to give us time to source the produce for the number of boxes ordered each week, thus reducing waste.

    Produce is harvested by local farmers, delivered to our HQ, or collected by us from the farm, then packed (on Monday) and delivered on Tuesday (Launceston and some other northern centres) or Wednesday (the rest of Tasmania). Where there is a public holiday on Monday in northern Tasmania, produce boxes will be delivered a day later than advertised. Please note we do pack some produce that is kept in cool store over the winter period that may include, but is not limited to apples, pears, pumpkin, onion, garlic and potatoes. We follow ethical trading practices, giving the farmer what they believe to be a fair price for their produce.

    The contents of our produce boxes will vary slightly from week to week and will be a mix of staples and less common produce.

    We offer a range of shipping options from free pick up points in Launceston, to home delivery options. If your area is not listed on check out, please contact us and we will obtain a shipping quote for you.

    We endeavour to operate with as little impact to the environment as possible. For health reasons, we cannot accept boxes for recycling, however we ask that you recycle the box within your own household. We compost all scraps generated. Excess produce is donated to charity.

  • Privacy & Security

    We do not store your banking or credit card details on our website. This is managed externally to our site with your bank or Paypal. We have a current SSL Certificate. Please see our Secure Shopping tab for a more indepth read about how we handle your information.

  • Returns & Replacements

    All our fresh produce is graded when your box is packed. On the odd occasion that something may slip through, please contact us on your delivery day by phone 0448 989 440 (during business hours) or email (sales@tasmanianbynature.com.au). We do recommend that your order be stored appropriately as soon as received as we cannot guarantee the quality of the items if they are not stored in the correct manner. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of fresh produce. Should a product you have specifically order be unavailable on packing day, we will arrange a refund within 7 days.

    We understand that you are not always going to be home to accept your delivery. At the time you place your order, please leave instructions of where we can leave it where it is safe and out of the weather. Particularly in the warmer months, it is suggested that you leave a cooler bag with a cold pack out for the box to be put into if you won't be home. You can purchase a frozen water bottle to add to your box. We cannot accept responsibility for theft or damage to your produce box when left in the designated area.

  • Ordering

    Ordering is through our website www.tasmanianbynature.com.au. If you are having trouble with this or have an additional enquiry, please call 0448 989 440 during business hour or send us an email to sales@tasmanianbynature.com.au. We are happy to help you place an order over the phone.

  • Payment

    Payment must be in our bank account by 11.59pm Wednesday (order cut off day) for your order to be processed and your order to be delivered the following week.

    PayPal is the quickest way to ensure your order goes through.

    We do accept bank deposits, however please allow a few days for your deposit to be processed by your bank to ensure it is in our account by 11.59pm the Wednesday before delivery.

    If your payment has not been received by this time, it will added to the following week's deliveries.

  • Suspending and Activating Subscriptions

    An order that you have set up to repeat at a set interval is called a “subscription”.

    Each week/fortnight, an “order” is generated from your “subscription” (each have separate tabs). These are generated automatically from the information inputted into the system.

    You can “suspend” your subscription by:

    1. Logging into your account

    2. Going to: “My Account”

    3. Then going to “My Subscriptions.”

    4. Click on your active subscription

    5. Choose “Suspend”

    You can “activate” your subscription the same way when you are ready to restart your deliveries.

    A “subscription” renews and generates an “order” on the same day and time that you placed your initial order NOT our cut off time.

    Please contact us if your subscription does not renew how you expected it to. If it is before the cut off time, we will be able to accommodate your request.

    YOU cannot control an “order” that has already been generated – you will need to contact us BEFORE the cut off time if you would like to make any changes to your order as it needs to be done from the our end!

    Your order can be viewed by logging into your account, going to 'My Dashboard' and looking in 'My Orders'.

  • Updating Account Information

    All account details can be found by logging in and going to 'My Account'. Our existing customers are requested to update all details when they first log in. We request that your keep your account information current to ensure we deliver your fresh produce to the correct location.
